Wow! That’s what I should say!!!! The trip to asia was Long and short, in so many words. It took 14hrs to get there and 13.5hrs to get back. I was a guest judge on this dance show, which the dancers are competing for the best dancer in asia and a chance to come dance at a NBA game this season. I’ll be putting up behind the scenes footage of the trip on my youtube so click and look for all the crazy videos. I wanna thank all my chinese fans for all the love they showed me over there it was crazy at times but great. So have a safe holiday weekend and I will holla at yall later.

Well the choctaw event was a success had lots of fun and the casino is awesome. I want to thank everyone who supported the event it’s going to great cause. And a special thank you to my owner Mark Cuban for making a appearance that really meant a lot to me, and also to the poker pros Annie Duke, Tiffany Michelle, Maria Ho and TJ. Hey everyone the poker tournament in Vegas turned out very well. I just want to thank all my celeb friends for showing up and supporting the Charity poker event. This will be an annual event and it will get better each year. And I want to give a special thanks to Michelle Williams for hosting the party with me and the Poker pro’s…..

World Series of Poker

Well my WSOP (world series of poker) main event didn’t last as long as I had hoped, but it exceeded all my expectations and more. My last hand was Ak versus pocket 77s. And with the flop showing and ace. I didn’t have any choice but to go all in, it went all the way to the end and I lost to tripple 7s. All though I lasted almost to the end of day one,I still felt like I had a good showing, since it was my tournament ever. I learned how and what to do next time I have the opportunity to play in the WSOP(world series of poker). I always have a great time going to vegas that’s were my two families are (mother and sisters, and unlv).

Well my Basketball camp has started in North Chicago this week and I’m enjoying the opportunity to give back to the kids in the community of North Chicago. And that’s what’s up holla next week!!!!!!

Family Reunion

Sorry for not sending out a new post on monday, just got tide up with other things and forgot. So anyways I went south for family reunion in Arkansas. We have it every year on fathers day, so my great grandfather can see all his kids and grandkids. It was 96 and hot, I drunk at least 2 cases of water by myself and the food was great everyone made or brought something. The mosquitoes were viscous at sundown we scattered like roaches and disappeared. I visited with my father for a few as well, then came back. So now getting for some meetings in LA and BET awards so til next week get at your boy ,that’s what’s up.

All I got to say is Wow!!!!!! I went to NY for the weekend and stayed in time square, which was great. I got to hang out with some friend and met some new one’s as well. I got to listen to my boy Dj Clue get down on those turntables and he got the spot crackin. Other than checking out some stores on 5th Avenue and running around in the Soho and West village. J just kicked it with the homies until Sunday.

I’m back in the Chi now getting ready to throw out the first pitch at the cubs game. That’s what’s up!!!!!

Stanley Cup Finals

Well, well, well, another week has came and gone. I was able to score tickets to the Stanley cup finals and, when I say it was crazy, it was crazy. My first hockey game ever and the blackhawks were unstoppable,and one game away from making history. Most of the time an athlete’s never really know how it is to be a fan!! I really got to experience that at the game. That’s what’s really up and feels good to be back in city.

Camp Dates:
July 12-14, 2010

About the Shawn “The Matrix” Basketball Camp 2010

What:
Free summer camp for youth who are interested in learning the basic fundamentals and expanding their knowledge of basketball. This camp will take place in an environment where hard work, dedication, responsibility, integrity and the importance of education are promoted in conjunction with basic basketball skills.

Purpose:
To inspire youth to embrace life skills and enlighten them on various valuable lessons that can be learned in a short period of time. This camp will go beyond giving youth the foundation of basketball/ We want youth to understand the importance of being smart and securing their futures early. The benefits of surrounding themselves with positive people that bring value to their lives will be high-lighted as a part of the camp.

Camp Expectations

All participants must be on time.
All participants must wear black or dark blue basketball shorts., camp shirt, name badge and gym shoes to camp.
No GUM IS ALLOWED!
Any Behavior that is detrimental to the Individual or any participants will be expelled.
RESPECT EVERYONE!!!

Tentative Schedule
8:30-8:55: Check In
9:00:-9:30 Opening Camp Session
9:30-11:00: Basketball Drills
11:00- Lunch
12:00-1:45: Tournament Play
1:45: Camp Day Close

Memorial Day Weekend

Sorry for the lay off on blog we got beat, my birthday came. And I was in a relax/chill mode and wanted to travel, and see something I’ve never seen before, so I did. I went to colombia for 3 days, was suppose to be four days, but weather delayed our trip. Anyway South America was beautiful and food was great as well as people. They have the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen, lol anytime I felt like going I new the bathroom was going to be clean so I went. That’s really what’s up lol, but the experience was great and I’ll do it again. Other than that I been home to chi and phx for couple of days to check on the cribs and get them ready for summer. So have a great memorial day weekend and holla next week that’s what’s up.
