NBA ALL-STAR SHAWN MARION JOINS ‘UNTIL THERE’S A CURE’ CAMPAIGN TO SPREAD HIV/AIDS AWARENESS ACROSS THE NATION
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 3, 2011) – Dallas Maverick forward Shawn Marion has become the latest celebrity to publicly join in the fight against HIV/AIDS by partnering with Until There’s A Cure® (UTAC).
Marion is lending his support to assist in the HIV/AIDS struggle in order to spread awareness and educate people to get more involved in HIV/AIDS testing regardless of age. Until There’s A Cure is a national organization dedicated to eradicating HIV/AIDS by raising awareness and funds to combat the pandemic.
“I am very excited to partner with UTAC and lend my hand in the fight to help inform our nation about HIV/AIDS,” said Marion. “I encourage everyone to go out and get tested, purchase a bracelet and help spread the word.”
