Busy Week

Well it was a very exciting week for me!!! I flew out from Chicago to LA on Tuesday, to shoot a footlocker commercial on the Santa Monica pier with fellow ballers, Caron Butler of the wizards, Rudy Gay of the Grizzles, Cappie Poindexter of the WNBA and Amare Stoudemire my former teammate of the Phoenix Suns. After two days of filming I went to Vegas for the Chris Weber charity poker even held at Planet Hollywood on Friday. On Saturday I took moms, sis and my niece to dinner at one of my favorite spots BOA for dinner. Then I jumped on a plane Sunday morning and met my cousin in LA for the world premier of the Mummy 3. That pretty much sums up my last week in a blur, I will be posting pictures soon.
How u doin Marion.. I just wanted you to know that your my favorite basket ball player even thou you dont get enough credit for the things you do on the court.people say I play like you shoot like you and everything. but yea I respect you as man and as basketball player and i wish the best for you next season in miami. and oh yea are you going to come out with a another shoe anytime soon?

You’ve had a busy week. I can’t wait to c the commercial with you and Cappie. I know your mom was happy to have her baby with her for a few days. I know you hurt them in the poker game. Keep having fun and be safe. Look forward to seeing the picture. Was the Mummy 3 as good as the other 2? Take care of your self.

Hi Shawn you forgot one more great thing you did this week,
you called and left me a voice mail wishing me a Happy 50th Birthday! WOW you made my day, you made my son’s day because you responded to his letter. Thank you for taking the time to call, thank you for making myself and my son so happy, he is a great kid and a great son as I am sure you are to your Mom. He is only 13, loves basketball,you and needs the kind of roll model you set for our youth. Thanks again for everything!

Sounds like you had lots of fun…busy but a fun time shooting that commercial, stopping over in Vegas to play poker & take time to dine with family. I’ll have to check out that restaurant when I visit Vegas next month. As for the Mummy 3, it’s still on my list. I’ve been watching the Olympics…your teammate is doing a great job. It would’ve been awesome if you were also in it. Maybe next Olympics! Take care & look forward to checking out your new photos. ~ Aloha ~
