It’s been a real struggle with this back injury, but I’m still hanging in there. We were able to get a good win against the Milwaukie Bucks which was great.
Now as for me I have been going through therapy for my back and catching up on my movies. I hadn’t been to best buy in a few weeks, so I went and caught up my movie collection with all of the newest movies. For the past three days or so I’ve been doing nothing but watching movies. I really enjoyed I Am Legend and if you haven’t seen Beowulf you need to go see it ASAP great movie! Other than that I’ve just been taking one day at a time so keep your head up and I’ll do the same.

I’m truly sorry that you’re injured & that you’re in pain. I know where you’re coming from, back pain is the worst. I’m glad the heat won against the bucks & although Miami lost yesterday, atleast there was an overtime–i haven’t seen that in a while. You’re my favorite basketball player & i was stoked when i heard you got traded to Miami. I hope everything is going great for you, isn’t Miami [the city] great? I think you’re an amazing basketball player & you have such an amazing personality. I’m looking forward to seeing those movies

Hey Shawn. You are always great at keeping your head up and I hope that your back gets better soon. I loved I Am Legend as well. Beowulf……………………eh……not so much. I haven’t watch a game in a minute though. A guy at work asked me why you weren’t playing. I was a little embarrassed that I couldn’t answer him. You will bounce back and be up to par in no time. Hope your mom and sisters are doing well!!

Hey there Matrix! I am sorry to hear that you are out due to back injury. I can’t remember when you were out for more than one or two game. Everyone misses seeing you on the court but you gotta rehab, I know. I am sure you will be up and playing again soon. No worries and stay up mentally! I also enjoyed both movies you mentioned. You never miss more than one game..ever! I’m sorry to hear your back injury is severe. Any back injury or spasm is never a good thing to endure. Just keep up the rehab & let it heal. Glad to hear that you are able to catch up (finally!) with your movies! You know what ALWAYS makes a movie complete? a bowl of POPCORN! If not…your fav snack will do! Truthfully, I haven’t had the opportunity to see any of those movies but I’m sure “I am Legend” is a good one. Mr. Smith is a GREAT actor…loved him in “Pursuit of Happyness”. I cried, cheered, and well..lost my voice!

Shawn, I am sorry about your back injury. I hope it is something that rest will take care of. You are such a basketball talent, the game is not the same without you. I still miss you on the Suns. I have watched the Heat since your arrival. I hope the possible acquisitions to the team will help you out.
Just a personal question, what does one wear to a beach wedding, as a member of the wedding party? I have never been to a beach wedding and I need some pointers. I know you are a style gurue. Keep the faith and see you on the court soon.

Beowulf is a good movie you reckon? I’ll definitely keep that in mind. I’ve been watching you all the way over here in Australia, particularly over the last few seasons and have always been impressed with your positive attitude. You are a great role model to all young sportsmen and sportswomen.
Anyway, it will always be a treat to see you play in what ever team you play for.
I know it’s hard growing through the back injury and the latest injury,plantar flacitis(don’t know if that’s how you spell it)caused you to miss the rest of the season! Well hopefully in the offseason you can get an extension and WE have some serious offseason workout to do!! Is it true miami is changing their style of play to up-tempo?! I can’t wait to see maimi back in the playoffs!! and some serious chemistry between d-wade and you!!!

Its been a while since I last posted a blog but I always check to see if you guys have won or even see a highlight. I hope you and Flash get well soon. So what are your plans for the summer? Our you coming to chicago? I pray that god gives you the strenght to get past this trade and all your injuries. I saw the game against the bulls saw you looking good on the side line in your black blazer. How is your mom dealing with all this I know you and her are very close? Its funny I use to get all happy when the playoffs came around but this year I don’t feel that way. If you were in the playoffs I would watch but now I just hoping to see you play over the summer. This is just a minor set back next year will be wonderful. I’ll keep you and your family in my prays. May god keep you safe and healthy until next time.

Beowulf is great. I got to see it in IMAX 3D. It doesn’t quite follow the poem, but it still has to be one of my favorites. Hope the rehab is treating you well. What’s your take on this year’s playoffs so far? Yesterday was a killer with TD for 3. Could you believe it?
When you get to thinking about where you will be, take a summertime visit to Portland. I’d love to see you in our black and red!
