It’s been while since I wrote a blog. I had my 1stcharity event for my foundation.There was a great turnout from my celebrity friends and Phoenix community. A big thank you to my sponsor Vitaminwater for their donation to the silent auction and for being the official beverage of the evening. I want to thank the fans in Phoenix for their support for the last 8 ½ years. I also want to thank my teammates for their friendship and the Suns organization for drafting me and making my dream of playing in the NBA a reality. Change is a part of life and things happen for a reason and it’s not always in your control. It’s important not to run from it, embrace it because God will never give you something you can’t handle.The Heat organization and City of Miami have been wonderful in making me feel at home. I’m looking forward to and am excited about the new opportunity. I hope my fans continue to support me in my new city, with my new team and my new number…..7!

Through Reading your blog, I can always feel that you’re very kind and very grateful. You’re such a great guy. Phoenix was so lucky to have someone like you. We suns fans( Now Miami fans as well ^^)really want to thank you for all the stuff you’ve done for us in the past eight and a half years.
Glad to see you happy Shawn, so if you are happy then I am happy, however still a little sad I can’t see my boy play all the time…but I am now a Miami Heat fan.

Your getting expensive! I had to get the NBA league pass so I could see more Heat games! So far your rock solid at 20/13 Miami must really be thrilled. Hope you continue to blog. You are a great player and although no one else says it, I think the Phoenix Suns have missed you since you left. I see everyones minutes up and theres no rest for the weary. Keep doing what you do! Don’t burn any bridges, you are one of the All Time Best Phoenix Sun! Some day if the tradition continues and your getting ready to retire the Suns are notorious for bringing players back for the Ring Of Honor. No doubt you will be in the Ring Of Honor! Hang in there, losing sucks and we know you aren’t use to losing, but its all for a reason, and easily will net a good draft pick next season, you definitely need help. Ricky Davis should have given up your #31 since he cant hold a candle to your Stats! You definitely need help in Miami, Dwayne Wades about all you got worth a Damn!
Awesome to hear you are doing well. I must say you can see the change of energy level with the presence of you on the Miami Heat Court. My nephew has always been a Heat fan, so I have in turn watched them on a regular basis. Wishing you a win tomorrow night!

I gotta tell you, Pastor Travis told me how you found out about the trade, and on behalf of Phoenix Suns fans, I’m sorry it went down that way. You and Marcus will sure be missed here in Phoenix. I’m proud of you though, cause you went out gracefully. It’s a nice reassurance of your character. Keep working hard homie, and turn that team over there around. Make them contenders and show the Suns Management what they gave up. Don’t worry though, you will get your championship ring before your career is finished. I’m sure of it. I was deeply saddened and hurt by your trade but have come to accept it with time knowing you’ll always succeed – wherever you play. I realized how much of a Shawn Marion fan I am though – I have been watching you play for the Heat every chance I get. As soon as it was available I looked up your new number and cost of the jersey. I am very proud of you and your accomplishments thus far and know it will only get better. I have always been impressed by your professionalism and respectful attitude on and off the court. Good Luck Shawn in Miami. You are truly missed in my household. We will still ride around in our car with 31matrx because you always will and continue to be our most favorite player. I have only been able to watch one game with you in a Heat uniform so far. I am going to get NBA League Pass so I can watch you in action every game! LOL It’s so good to hear that you are doing well. I watched tonight’s game against Seattle and can I just say…YAY!!! Congrats on a hard-pressed, and never quitting defensive win!! You were on fire in the 3rd & 4th quarter..DEFENSE!!! Kodak moment of the night? I’d have to say in the 4th quarter when Mr. Davis’s shot didn’t go in, you bee-lined straight for the rim and popped it right in. Way to go! Keep the faith and don’t stop doing your thing. YOU do make a positive difference in the energy, chemistry and attitude for the Heat. AWESOME game! As usual, lost my voice..but well worth it! Sendin’ it from Hawaii..GOOO Heat!

As a Phoenix Native and a life-long SUNS fan I was devastated to hear you were being traded. I’ve been depressed watching the Suns struggle without you and find myself rooting for Miami a little now and either watching when I can or checking the box score to see if you had a good night. I was against the trade in the first place and just wanted you to know that the fans here really miss you and wish you were still part of the Suns.

Shawn, the Suns aren’t as good without you. You belong in Phoenix, and we want you. You should try and sign back with Phoenix next year and that way we can have you back, along with Shaq and all the other all stars in Phoenix. We love you and we want to win a championship with you. You’ve been my favorite Suns player since you were a rookie. I got to shake your hand when you greeted fans at the arena door at the start of your second season. I called you “Grasshopper”. because of your phenomenal jumping ability. I remember the game where you fell on your head, and the fear that I felt that you wouldn’t recover. You were back within three games!I bought your jersey, and wore it to just about every game. I couldn’t wait to check your stats, and to compare your numbers with other players. As a season ticket holder, I enjoyed watching you play more than anyone else. I miss you. No one leaves it all on the floor like you do every single game. The team isn’t the same. No one can replace you. You are one of a kind. I just wanted you to know how much you meant to me, my husband, my daughter and countless other fans. I still check your stats every day. Someday, I hope that the Suns put you in the Ring of Honor, because you deserve it.
