Happy New Year Everybody! Hope it’s starting off well for all of you. I brought in mine with a bang! Had dinner at one of my favorite spots in Vegas… N9NE Steakhouse. Then I watched my man Kanye West rock the Pearl Theater at Palms Casino. Later I checked out Jay Z’s new 40/40 club at the Palazzo with some of my teammates. We had a blast and kicked off the new year right! I hope you all had fun as well and wishing you lots of fun and smiles in 2008. Enjoy!

Sean, this website is great and I enjoy reading your blog entries. I just wanted to let you know I come from a family of diehard suns fans and we love you here in Phoenix. You do so much for the team and the community and I really hope you remain a Suns player for your entire career.

You are such a gifted athlete and an absolute thrill to watch! I hope you stay with Phoenix throughout your entire career; no one could EVER take your place. Is it true that Kenny Smith gave you the nickname: “The Matrix”? The name fits you perfectly! Thanks for all you do on and off the court. One of my dreams is to give you professional pool lessons. I know you love to play. I played pro for several years representing Arizona. We were called the Phoenix Sticks back in the early 80’s. Being a lifelong Suns fan, of course I’d love nothing more than to see the Suns win an NBA Championship title. I know you’d love to win the “ring” too! Stay healthy and keep on doing what you do best: Defying gravity!

hey shawn, happy new year to you and the rest of the team. in my opinion you are one of the greatest players in the hystory of the suns and in the NBA today along side nash ofcourse. a silent giant in the media. definatley a rolemodel as a man and as a teamate. year after year doing what you do best with and for phoenix. publicly not gettting the same level of attention or acknowledgement as other guys around the league for reasons that elude me. never the less you gotta know that the suns wouldnt be our suns without you. Shawn, I just watched your interview on Nothin’ But Net: great job. It made me want to go get a chicken pot pie! I’m loving the website and looking forward to reading your thoughts on how the season is going. I’ve been a Suns fan for a long time and have been able to see you play in OKC, Dallas, and here in Portland (the team’s never lost when I’m there). I look forward to seeing you guys up here again in March.

Just wanted to drop you a few lines to wish you a great new year! You are a joy to watch on the floor! The amount of poise and professionalism you bring to the Suns is unsurpassed. I understand that others often get a lion’s share of the “glory” and that must be difficult to accept when you are in many ways the backbone of the team. However, you never let any of that show on the floor and that is the sign of a true professional. Kudos to you for being not only a gifted player but for showing true leadership. I hope you and the rest of the Suns obtain your rings this year.

Dave here again. I gotta say, that was the most fun game to watch so far this year. The Matrix was definetly feeling it. Shawn, do you feel this is something the Suns can build on? There seems to be a lot of drama this year, and waaaay too much press on chemistry issues. If you guys can work it all out, we can celebrate a championship this year!!!
